Bowden House School is a small community special boarding school for boys in Seaford, teaching around 40 pupils aged 5 to 18, with a sixth form. It provides for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. Ofsted rated the school Good at its last full inspection (2014), so that judgement is now well over a decade old.

The school says it offers education in a safe, stable and supportive environment, with its care and education teams working closely together, and it develops vocational pathways including food technology, expressive arts and outdoor education.
