Oakfields Preparatory School is a mixed independent preparatory school in Upminster, Havering, for pupils aged 3 to 11. It has nursery classes, around 220 pupils and a non-selective admissions policy.
Its June 2025 ISI inspection found standards and safeguarding met.
The school describes itself as a close-knit preparatory community where children are encouraged to dream big, follow their curiosity and grow in confidence. It says small class sizes allow learning to be tailored to each pupil, and highlights music, drama, sport, clubs and sustainability as part of school life. The school also says it aims to nurture compassionate, curious learners with character as well as knowledge and skills.
