Hedgewood School is a community special primary school in Hayes, Hillingdon, for boys and girls aged 5 to 11. It has special classes and around 190 pupils. Recorded SEN provision includes autistic spectrum disorder and moderate learning difficulty. The school was rated Good at its last full Ofsted inspection in January 2013, so that judgement is now dated.
The school describes itself as a special needs primary school supporting pupils with autism and complex, moderate learning disabilities. It gives its vision as “be nice - work hard - be happy” and says it works with each child as an individual, meeting educational and therapeutic needs so that pupils can flourish.
