Strand-on-the-Green Junior School

Strand-on-the-Green Junior School is a local authority maintained community junior school in London, within Hounslow, for boys and girls aged 7 to 11. It has special classes, around 345 pupils and recorded provision for autistic spectrum disorder. The school was rated Good at its last full Ofsted inspection in November 2011, so that judgement is now dated.

At Key Stage 2, 83% of pupils achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and maths, with 27% reaching the higher standard.

The school sets out principles including teaching that transforms, ambition for all, connected community and every child as an individual. It says it aims to build scholarly habits, create opportunity, offer challenge and keep mutual respect at the centre of school life.
