Oaklands School is a community special school in Hounslow for boys and girls aged 4 to 19. It has nursery classes, a sixth form, special classes and around 270 pupils. Recorded SEN provision includes autistic spectrum disorder, severe learning difficulty and profound and multiple learning difficulty. It was rated Outstanding at its last full Ofsted inspection in July 2019, so that judgement is now dated.
The school says its curriculum supports young people to make progress, develop skills and become more independent. It describes New Oaks as its primary school site in Isleworth and High Oaks as its secondary school and three-year sixth form programme in Hounslow, with students' needs and interests at the centre of its work.
