Perseid School is a community special school in Morden, Merton, for boys and girls aged 3 to 19. It has nursery classes, a sixth form, special classes and around 160 pupils. Recorded SEN provision includes autistic spectrum disorder, multi-sensory impairment, physical disability, severe learning difficulty and profound and multiple learning difficulty. The school was rated Outstanding at its last full Ofsted inspection in April 2012, so that judgement is now dated.

The school describes a highly personalised approach for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, including learners with autism and physical or sensory difficulties. It says its adapted curriculum integrates education and therapy, builds skills, confidence, independence, communication and wellbeing, and is designed around pupils' needs and interests.
