Cricket Green School is a community special school in Mitcham, Merton, for boys and girls aged 4 to 19. It has a sixth form, special classes and around 260 pupils. Recorded SEN provision includes specific learning difficulty, speech, language and communication needs, autistic spectrum disorder, social, emotional and mental health needs, physical disability, moderate learning difficulty and severe learning difficulty. The school was rated Outstanding at its last full Ofsted inspection in March 2013, so that judgement is now dated.
The school describes itself as a thriving special school where learners and their achievements are valued. It says pupil wellbeing is at the heart of its work, with a focus on independence, informed choices, confidence, skills and qualifications.
