Woodford Green Preparatory School is a non-selective independent preparatory school in Woodford Green, Redbridge, teaching around 370 boys and girls aged 3 to 11, with nursery classes.
The school says it was founded in 1932 to provide a non-denominational Christian education, is known locally as the Red School for its scarlet uniforms, and describes itself as a diverse community inclusive of all faiths and none. It adds that it will join Bancroft's and St Aubyn's to form the Bancroft's Family of Schools from September 2026. Its most recent ISI inspection (May 2023) found the school met the required standards, including safeguarding.
