Bancroft's School is a mixed Church of England independent school in Woodford Green, within Redbridge, for pupils aged 11 to 18. It has a sixth form and around 870 pupils.
Its February 2025 ISI inspection found standards and safeguarding met, with the summary noting leaders' focus on wellbeing, continuous improvement and suitable learning arrangements. The average A level grade was A, and 62.1% of A level entries were in AAB or higher combinations.
The school says it has been on its greenfield Woodford site since 1889, while remaining connected to inner London by the Central Line and its bus network. It describes a warm, vibrant and supportive community with scholarship, intellectual inquiry, co-curricular opportunities and pastoral care.
