Little Heath School is a foundation special school in Romford, within Redbridge, for boys and girls aged 11 to 19. It has a sixth form, special classes and around 235 pupils. Recorded SEN provision includes visual impairment, speech, language and communication needs, autistic spectrum disorder, physical disability, moderate learning difficulty, severe learning difficulty, and profound and multiple learning difficulty. The school was rated Good at its last full Ofsted inspection in March 2014, so that judgement is now dated.
The school describes itself as a well-established school for pupils with autism, a wide range of learning difficulties and complex needs. It says it is a thriving community where everyone is encouraged and supported to develop their full potential.
