Unicorn School

Unicorn School is a mixed independent school in Richmond, within Richmond upon Thames, for pupils aged 3 to 11. It has nursery classes, around 160 pupils and a non-selective admissions policy. Its June 2025 ISI material-change inspection found the school likely to meet the relevant independent school standards if the proposed change is implemented.

The school says it was founded in 1970 by local parents and teachers who wanted children to have a rounded education, creative flourishing and a safe, happy learning environment. It highlights confidence, resilience, adaptability, kindness, compassion, independent thinking and a wide range of extra-curricular activities, from sport and arts to chess, cookery and sailing.
