The John Fisher School is a Roman Catholic voluntary aided secondary school in Purley, within Sutton, for boys aged 11 to 18. It is non-selective, has a sixth form, around 1,135 pupils and is in the Archdiocese of Southwark. The school was rated Good at its last full Ofsted inspection in November 2013, so that judgement is now dated.

Its GCSE Attainment 8 score was 55.6, and 65.1% of pupils achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths. At 16 to 18, the average A level grade was C+, 13.6% of A level entries were in AAB or higher combinations, and 58% of students sustained a higher education destination.
