Firs Primary School is a large local-authority community primary school in Sale, Trafford, teaching around 575 boys and girls aged 3 to 11, with nursery classes. It has special classes and wide SEN provision, including specific learning difficulty, speech and language needs, autism, SEMH, moderate learning difficulty and severe learning difficulty. Its last full Ofsted inspection was Outstanding in September 2017, so that judgement is now dated.

The school is recorded as a maintained community primary with a capacity of 590 places.

At Key Stage 2, 72% of pupils met the expected standard in reading, writing and maths, and 5% reached the higher standard.
