The Robert Ogden School is an independent special school in Barnsley for boys and girls aged 5 to 19. It has a sixth form, special classes and around 140 pupils. Its SEN provision covers autistic spectrum disorder and severe learning difficulty. Ofsted rated it Good in July 2022, and independent school standards were met.
The school says it has taught and cared for autistic children and young people since 1977. It describes a caring environment, specialist staff, low-arousal spaces, an Inclusive Learning Hub for pupils with complex needs, and an emphasis on preparing pupils for adulthood.
