Southgate School is a community special school in Huddersfield for boys and girls aged 4 to 16, with around 180 pupils. It has special classes and SEN provision spanning visual and hearing impairment, speech and language needs, autism, social, emotional and mental health, and moderate and severe learning difficulties.

Ofsted rated it Good at its last full inspection in 2015, so that judgement is now dated. The school describes Forest, Orchard and Woodland pathways, a highly inclusive ethos, a non-sanctioning approach to behaviour and a focus on positive relationships.
