Ofsted rated it Good at its last full inspection in 2013, so that judgement is now dated. The school describes itself as an 11 to 18 comprehensive in northwest Leeds with a vibrant, harmonious and cosmopolitan community. It says it treats students as individuals and that many students choose to remain for sixth form. GCSE Attainment 8 was 42.3, and 40.2% achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths.
