Newcastle School for Boys is a selective independent boys' school in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, within Newcastle upon Tyne local authority, for ages 2 to 18. It has nursery classes, a sixth form and around 360 pupils.
Its ISI inspection in November 2025 found relevant standards met, including safeguarding.
The school says it offers through-school education from Early Years to Sixth Form and will become The Newcastle School, welcoming girls into Junior School and Sixth Form from September 2026, then the rest of Senior School from September 2027. It also describes small class sizes and co-curricular options across sport, performing arts, STEM clubs and international travel.
