Houghton Conquest Lower School is a small community lower school in Central Bedfordshire, teaching children from age 2 to 9. It has nursery classes, around 140 pupils and a larger rural setting near a major town or city.

The school says it has been at the centre of its village community for more than 100 years and describes its motto as Growing Together. It links this to a values-led approach to confidence, honesty, responsibility and contribution to the community, and says it works in partnership with parents through communication and shared understanding.
