St Matthew's Primary School is a large community primary school in Luton, teaching around 900 children aged 4 to 11. Ofsted rated the school Good in October 2023, and 57% of Key Stage 2 pupils met the expected standard in reading, writing and maths. Around three in ten pupils are eligible for free school meals.
The school says it is committed to growing each child's aspirations and giving pupils the skills to learn and succeed. It also highlights book-themed activities, a Year 4 residential visit, choir events, local bookshop projects and CHUMS workshops for families.
