Brockhurst and Marlston House Schools is a non-selective independent preparatory school in Thatcham, within West Berkshire. It teaches boys and girls aged 2 to 13, has nursery classes, boarding, special classes and around 320 pupils.
The school describes twin preparatory schools using a 'diamond model' that combines co-education with single-sex teaching from Year 3 to Year 7, alongside co-educational sport, music and co-curricular activities. It says the approach is designed to create a safe and nurturing environment while children continue to learn and play together.
Its October 2025 ISI inspection found standards and safeguarding standards met.
