Elstree School is a non-selective Church of England independent preparatory school near Reading, within West Berkshire. It teaches boys and girls aged 2 to 13, has nursery classes, boarding and around 310 pupils.

The school describes a 150-acre Berkshire countryside setting, academic rigour, co-curricular opportunities and an ethos of kindness and encouragement. It also highlights community, camaraderie and a house system that it says helps pupils feel they belong.

Its November 2025 ISI inspection found standards and safeguarding standards met, with the inspection summary noting a warm and inclusive community.
