The Leys School is a selective Methodist independent boarding and day school in central Cambridge, teaching around 565 pupils aged 11 to 19 and running its own sixth form. At its ISI inspection in November 2025 the school met the standards considered, including safeguarding and those for boarders. At A-level the average grade was A-, with 44.9% achieving AAB or better in facilitating subjects.
The school points to its central Cambridge setting and says it and St Faith's School plan to become a single co-educational school from September 2028, having belonged to the same foundation since 1938.
