Chapel Street Infants and Nursery School is a community infant and nursery school in Dalton-in-Furness, Westmorland and Furness, teaching around 92 children aged 2 to 7. Ofsted rated it Good in June 2023.

The school says it has been at the heart of the Dalton community since opening in 1878. It describes an executive headteacher shared across two schools, a collaborative partner arrangement, a Caring Code and core values, in a nurturing but challenging environment where pupils are happy, safe and ready to learn.
