The Lakes School is a non-selective community secondary school in Windermere, Westmorland and Furness, for boys and girls aged 11 to 18. It has a sixth form, and its SEN provision includes moderate and severe learning difficulties.

Ofsted rated it Good at its last full inspection (2020), so the grade is dated. GCSE results include an Attainment 8 score of 46.8, while sixth-form results include an average A-level grade of C+ and 45.5% achieving AAB or better in two or more facilitating subjects.
