Sandside Lodge School is a community special school in Ulverston, Westmorland and Furness, for boys and girls from 4 to 19. It has special classes and a sixth form. Its SEN provision includes severe and profound learning difficulties, autism, speech, language and communication needs, sensory impairments, physical disability and other difficulties or disabilities.
The school says pupils have education, health and care plans and describes a highly personalised approach to learning. It highlights a new building opened in September 2019, enhanced therapy facilities including aquatic and rebound therapy, and a MOVE programme supporting physical development.
