Mugginton CofE Primary School is a small Church of England voluntary controlled primary near Ashbourne in Derbyshire, teaching boys and girls aged 4 to 11. It has a small pupil community and sits within the Diocese of Derby.

The school says it is a 175-year-old church school with wraparound care before and after the school day. It describes its Golden Threads as providing nurture and a secure base, and says it works to broaden pupils' horizons through Japanese language and cultural activities, STEM topics and ICT.
