Linwood School is a community special school in Bournemouth, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, for boys and girls aged 2 to 19. It has nursery classes, a sixth form and special classes, with SEN provision including autism, speech and language needs, SEMH, and moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties. Ofsted rated it Outstanding at its last full inspection in 2013, a notably older rating.

The school uses the motto "Belong. Believe. Achieve." It describes several campuses, a wide geographical intake and person-centred curriculum and assessment pathways, with values including respect, harmony, inclusivity, support, responsibility, trust and positivity.
