Shorefields School is a community special school in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, for boys and girls aged 3 to 19. It has nursery classes, a sixth form and special classes, with provision for autism and moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.
The school describes its pupils as having complex, severe and profound learning needs and says it provides personalised, flexible learning programmes and therapies for children and young people with special educational needs and education, health and care plans. Ofsted rated Shorefields Outstanding at its last full inspection (2013).
