The school says it was founded by educator-philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti in 1969 and describes an international boarding-school community shaped by holistic education. It says students create their own programmes of study, take on projects and portfolios, and learn in an atmosphere of friendly equality, self-knowledge and self-reflection.

Its ISI inspection in March 2025 found standards met and safeguarding standards met.
