York House School is a mixed, selective Christian independent preparatory school in Hertfordshire, educating around 360 children from ages 3 to 13, with nursery classes.

Its ISI inspection in June 2024 found standards and safeguarding standards met.

The school says it was founded in 1910 and has been just outside Croxley Green since 1966. It describes a broad education with room for joy, wonder and adventure, shaped by three pupil aims: positive outlook, self-reliance, and leaving others and surroundings better.
