The Coppice School is a community special school in Preston, Lancashire, for boys and girls aged 2 to 19. It has nursery classes, a sixth form, special classes and around 70 pupils. Its SEN provision covers learning difficulties, speech and language needs, autism, SEMH, multi-sensory impairment, physical disability and profound and multiple learning difficulty.
The school says it meets a wide range of special educational needs and that its pupils have statements or Education, Health and Care Plans. It describes itself as small enough to know individual pupils and families well. Ofsted rated it Good at its last full inspection in 2014; that grade is now dated.
