Thurton Primary School is a small Church of England voluntary controlled primary in Norfolk, for boys and girls aged 4 to 11. Ofsted rated it Outstanding at its last full inspection (2015), so that inspection is now dated; at Key Stage 2, 40% of pupils met the expected standard in reading, writing and maths.
The school describes mixed-age, mixed-ability classes supported by teachers and learning support assistants, with flexible grouping to match pupils' stages of development.
