Newtown CofE Primary School is a small Church of England voluntary controlled primary in rural Shropshire, serving boys and girls aged 3 to 11 and including nursery classes. Ofsted rated it Outstanding at its last full inspection (2013), so that inspection is now dated.

The school says its vision is "Let Your Light Shine" and describes itself as a small village school with a big heart, between Wem and Ellesmere. It highlights family values, each child as a unique individual, outdoor learning, educational visits and broadening children's horizons.
