Ofsted's November 2024 inspection did not give an overall grade; at Key Stage 2, 56% of pupils met the expected standard in reading, writing and maths, with 6% reaching the higher standard.
The school describes itself as a small and friendly learning community set in grounds at the foot of the South Downs National Park. It says its caring ethos puts children at the centre, with a focus on academic, social and emotional development, and a school aim of "Moving Forward, Loving Learning".
