Stonar School is an independent boarding and day school in Wiltshire for pupils aged 2 to 18. It is mixed, non-selective, has nursery classes and a sixth form, and serves around 450 pupils.

The school says it was established in 1895 and describes a Wiltshire countryside setting, a nurturing approach and a broad, balanced curriculum. It also highlights riding for pupils of different abilities, creativity, sport and outdoor education. ISI found the relevant standards and safeguarding standards met in January 2026.
