The Observatory School is a community special school in Prenton, Wirral, for pupils aged 7 to 16. It has special classes and SEN provision for social, emotional and mental health, serving around 170 pupils. Ofsted judged the school Good at its December 2012 inspection.

The school describes two campuses just under three miles apart, designed in harmony with nature and to meet pupils' needs. 65.3% of pupils are eligible for free school meals.
