Dryden School is a community special school in Gateshead for boys and girls aged 11 to 18. It has a sixth form, special classes and SEN provision for severe learning difficulty and profound and multiple learning difficulty. Ofsted rated it Outstanding in 2015, now dated.

The school says its purpose-built accommodation includes a hydrotherapy pool, food technology room, horticulture area, and light and sound room. It describes transition planning, independence, responsibility and work-related learning as important parts of its approach.
