Oakfield High School and College is a community special school in Wigan for boys and girls aged 11 to 19. It has a sixth form, special classes and broad SEN provision, including sensory impairment, autism, SEMH, physical disability and moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties. Ofsted rated the school Outstanding at its last full inspection in May 2014, so the grade is long dated.
The school says it is part of The Aspire Federation and uses the motto "Aiming High, Reaching All", describing an inclusive, child-centred ethos focused on holistic development.
