Newfield School is a community special school in Blackburn with Darwen for pupils aged 4 to 19, with nursery classes, a sixth form and around 235 pupils. It has special classes and broad SEN provision across sensory, communication, autism, physical and learning needs. Ofsted's January 2025 inspection did not give an overall grade.
The school describes itself as the Newfield Family and says it creates needs-led provision matched to each pupil's key learning needs, with a focus on independence and meaningful skills for life beyond the classroom.
