Headstart is an independent special school near Battle, East Sussex, for boys and girls aged 5 to 21. It has special classes and SEN provision for social, emotional and mental health needs. Ofsted judged the school Good in January 2024 and found the independent school standards met.

The school says its values are empathy, adventure and determination, and links its wider provision to therapeutic care for children with complex needs and previous trauma.
