West Lakes Academy is a mixed, non-selective secondary academy in Egremont, Cumberland, for students aged 11 to 18. It has a sixth form. Ofsted rated the school Outstanding at its last full inspection in 2017, a rating now more than five years old.
The academy says it opened in September 2008 and moved into a GBP26m building in 2012. It describes its vision as "Changing Lives through Learning" and says it serves young people in West Cumbria.
