Furness Academy is a large secondary academy in Barrow-in-Furness, within Westmorland and Furness. It is mixed and non-selective, teaching ages 11 to 16. Ofsted judged the school Good in June 2023. GCSE Attainment 8 was 42.4, and 35.6% of pupils achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths.
The school describes its core values as respect, responsibility and relationships, and says it provides a welcoming, safe environment where students are encouraged to be curious, engaged, responsible and kind.
