Bahr Academy is a small selective independent school for girls in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, for ages 11 to 16. It has a Sunni Deobandi religious character, and Ofsted rated it Good in March 2022.
The school says it began in 2007 with a small intake of girls, and frames its mission around character development, spirituality, leadership and service to communities. It describes a vision of nurturing young people as future leaders and role models through the Qur'an and Sunnah.
