Garforth Academy is a large non-selective academy converter secondary school in Leeds, teaching boys and girls aged 11 to 18. It has a sixth form and registered SEN provision across learning, sensory, communication, autism, SEMH and physical needs. Ofsted's January 2025 inspection did not give an overall grade.
The school describes itself as a vibrant place to learn, aiming to enrich, guide and support students so they are prepared for work or further study, with an emphasis on independent learning and resilience.
