Southend High School for Boys is a selective academy converter secondary school in Southend-on-Sea for boys aged 11 to 18. It has a sixth form, is large, and has SEN provision for autistic spectrum disorder. Ofsted rated the school Outstanding in July 2024. GCSE Attainment 8 was 73.8, and 97.2% achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths.

The school uses the motto "forti nihil difficile" and says talent is nurtured, learning is valued and pupils develop confidence through creative, sporting and other activities.
