Southend High School for Girls is a selective academy converter secondary school in Southend-on-Sea for girls aged 11 to 18. It has a sixth form and is large, with around 1,250 pupils. Ofsted rated the school Outstanding in September 2024. GCSE Attainment 8 was 75, and 98.9% achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths.
The school describes itself as inspiring and vibrant, with principles of being safe, happy and successful, and says it values creativity, performance, sport and student ambassador roles in the local community.
