Al Madina School for Girls is a small selective independent Muslim school in Barking, teaching girls aged 11 to 16. Ofsted rated the school Good in March 2023, and independent school standards were met.
The school describes itself as an independent faith-based school where academic learning and Islamic values go together. It says its core values are rooted in the Islamic concept of fitra, naming the qualities of forbearance, inquisitiveness, truthfulness, respect and ambition.
