Formby High School is a large non-selective secondary academy near Liverpool in Sefton, teaching students aged 11 to 18 and offering a sixth form. It has SEN provision for moderate learning difficulty, and Ofsted rated the school Good in December 2022.
The school describes a caring and friendly learning environment, with the motto "determined to achieve". It says students are encouraged through community projects, extra-curricular activities, trips and fundraising, with personal development treated as central to school life.
