Nethergate Academy is a small mixed special academy in Nottingham for pupils aged 5 to 19. It has a sixth form and special classes, with SEN provision for moderate learning difficulty. Ofsted rated it Outstanding at its last full inspection (2018), an older inspection outcome.
The school says every child is unique, capable and full of potential. It describes individualised support, a safe and inclusive environment, and four curriculum drivers: communication, independence, safety and well-being, with staff, therapists and support staff working with families and other professionals.
