Welbeck Academy is a mixed academy sponsor-led primary in Newcastle upon Tyne, teaching children from age 2 to 11 with nursery classes. Ofsted judged it Requires improvement in February 2024.
The school says it has served the Walker community since 1914 and that WISE Academies has been involved since 2012. It describes a focus on helping children feel loved, nurtured and safe, and wants pupils to leave as happy, articulate, aspirational and empathetic young people.
